The chef here is famous for his beef Wellington - quite the best you'll ever have. But then there's his lobster bisque and steamed fish in champagne. Yumm.

No Beef Wellington!

And it's not called the Wild Pig anymore! It's the restaurant in the Coconut Palms Resort. they still have a Wild Pig bar though, and if you ask any of the taxi drivers to take you to the Wild Pig, they know where to go. The lobster bisque isn't as great as the above suggests, but still OK. You can, however, order fresh lobster here, and it's great. It costs 300vatu per 100grams and you can choose what size lobster you want. I thought it was the most reasonably priced lobster in Port Vila. you can get it grilled with garlic or pastis lobster or poached with Mornay. Nicely cooked too. Just delicious. The dessert menu looked so uninspiring we gave it a swerve though and finished up in the Wild Pig bar drinking margaritas and playing pool on the old rolly table, but at least the baize wasn't ripped!. The service here was also really good.
