Besides the Hitching Post, we deem the Grill DC’s quintessential diner. Be they president, Harlem globetrotter or college student, they’ve all come here for almost 70 years to eat turkey legs, catfish and meatloaf served with sides of sweet tea and more character than Shakespeare’s collected works.
