A must for Texas-style BBQ lovers, with piled-high portions of smoked meat and plenty o' slaw on the side; try the brisket sandwich. A very casual eating environment, usually packed at lunch with journalists, office workers and other city folk.

    Get brisket, sausage, or sides - skip anything else

    johnj1978 recommends this,

    Fantastic brisket (our friend from Texas says it reminds her of places back home), very good sausage, and good sides. Other items are so so (skip the ribs, chicken, turkey, etc...).

    Good for a beer and a sandwich before a game/event at the Verizon center, it can get really crowded (especially at lunch and before games).
