Claiming to be DC's 'only 50-star restaurant,' this place takes the theme as far as it goes, with menus shaped like maps and mains from every state in the Union (from New York steak to grilled Mahi-Mahi, and don't forget Boston cream pie for dessert). The varied menu draws Hill-rats during the week and tourists on weekends. It's a good place to bring the family; couples might find the mall atmosphere un-romantic.

    Usually relaxing and exciting venue with nice food !

    While it can get quite noisy here amongst travellers and shoppers in Union Station, I've been here times when you could hear a pin drop! It is indeed fun in the beautifully restored, elegant Union Station and the hours are really good! Food choices abound; we've had sandwiches; pasta; steaks and desserts that all are enjoyably good. It is a nice well-rounded american menu; children can find plenty too. Take a pleasant breather from the rush of Washington DC and sit for a spell, at America !
