Guests looking for a place more comfy than the usual one-night stand hotel are the target of the Beacon Hotel. Rooms are large studios and come fully equipped with conveniences for working and cooking in the room. It's all a bit flash, in a very modernistic sort of way.

It's just assumed that someone else is paying the freight for the corporate travellers who fill the eight floors of rooms at this stylish hotel. Rooms boast amenities like flatscreen TVs, kitchenettes and decor designed to be the antidote for those lulled into insensibility by the usual stultifying standards employed by serviced apartments. Bedspreads vie for attention with bold stripes whereas the huge, white headboards on the beds may cause you to look in vain for the video projector. Public spaces range from the snazzy little lobby (think expensive PR firm) to the dramatic rooftop entertainment space with its reflecting pool. The striking Beacon Bar & Grille on the lower level opens up to a fine patio and is popular with locals.
