Under artistic director Michael Kahn, this little theater on Gallery Row has been called ‘one of the world’s three great Shakespearean theaters’ by the Economist. Its home company stages a half-dozen works annually, plus a free summer Shakespeare series at the Carter Barron Amphitheater in Rock Creek Park.
