Universal Orlando Resort boasts three excellent deluxe resort hotels. Staying at the resort eliminates all kinds of logistical hassles: it's a pleasant gardened walk or a quiet boat ride to the parks; all guests receive Unlimited Express Pass access to park attractions and priority dining; the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opens one hour early for all guests; and the Loews Loves Pets program welcomes Fido as a VIP. Generally less expensive than Walt Disney World's deluxe accommodation, they offer far superior service, food, decor, amenities and rooms. Ask about kids' suites, including the Jurassic Park–themed suites at Royal Pacific and Seuss- and Minion-inspired suites at Portofino Bay. In 2014 Universal opened Cabana Bay, a value resort with family suites – guests here enjoy early admission to Harry Potter fun, but do not receive Universal Express Passes.
