Itinerary

Day 1 San Francisco

Arrive early to explore the chilled out city of San Francisco. Enjoy its many attractions and be captivated by its vibrant, multicultural heart.

Days 2-4 Yosemite National Park

Located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite National Park is an unbelievably beautiful place to visit. With free time here, there'll be plenty of opportunities to explore granite cliffs and majestic waterfalls. Hike the Clouds Rest trail for fantastic views of Half Dome before cooling off in Lake Tenaya.

Day 5 Sierra Nevada

Enjoy a morning hike to Lembert Dome and drive via the Tioga Pass heading to the township of Bishop. Enjoy a soak in the natural hot springs or kick back in a local cafe.

Day 6 Death Valley/Las Vegas

Huge dune formations, sculptured rocks, isolated valleys and volcanic craters all combine in the super-hot sandpit of Death Valley. Travel through this impressive landscape and arrive in the flashy capital of the gambling world, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Days 7-8 Havasupai Canyon

Hike in Havasupai, a Native American reservation, and visit its picture-perfect waterfall. Be sure to bring a swimsuit as a refreshing dip in the blue-green waters beneath these falls is an absolute must.

Days 9-10 Grand Canyon

Set off on an early hike out of the Havasupai and hit the road bound for the most famous canyon on earth. The dimensions of the Grand Canyon are nothing short of astounding and it is simply awe-inspiring from any angle. Perhaps enjoy a bird's-eye perspective of this natural marvel on an optional helicopter ride over the canyon.

Days 11-12 Las Vegas

Travel west through Kaibab National Forest and back to the bright lights of Vegas to celebrate the end of the Hiking Yosemite and Canyons adventure in style.
