    A unique spot in El Paso, this open-air beer garden is a great place to wind down after a long day of hiking or mountain biking in the Franklin Mountains. The folks here are some of the friendliest you will meet. Many west-side locals call this place home. There’s live music Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday.

  2. Abraham Chávez Theatre

    The sombrero-shaped Abraham Chávez Theatre is host to most of El Paso’s major performing organizations and many touring concerts and plays. These include El Paso Symphony Orchestra, El Paso Community Concert Association and El Paso Opera Company.

    This five-clubs-in-one venue is El Paso’s biggest party place. For one cover, guests can wander from a country/Tejano club to a karaoke lounge to a pool hall, a Top-40 dance hall and a ’70s disco. A dress code is strictly enforced.

    This elaborate theater under the stars is all indoors: pinpoint lights replicate stars, and vines cling to faux Spanish courtyard walls. Plays, concerts and shows are staged at this 1930 downtown landmark.

    Part food stand, part roadside attraction, Kathy's Kosmic Kowgirl Kafe is a hot-pink trailer about a mile west of Hwy 118. It sometimes shows movies and has campfires at night.
