Lonely Planet review
No wonder pictures of the Alamo are always tightly cropped. Pull back and you can see the Crockett's sign hovering just behind the fort. (In Texas, they call that 'spittin' distance.') Rooms are basic but pleasant enough, and there's an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, plus a good breakfast buffet.
Our independent authors have visited The Crockett Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in San Antonio.
