Free, free, free! Parking, Internet access, hot breakfast, beer and wine, laundry use - all free. All the details are covered: dishwashing soap by the sink and a laundry basket in the closet. There's even complimentary popcorn and bottled water in the room. Extras add up at this all-suite property opened in June 2007.
To save more money, you could cook in your own kitchenette, or use one of two Weber grills available to guests. But Tuesday through Thursday nights you might want to skip it. The managers reception with a rotating menu - burgers, pasta, chicken, plus beer and wine - is plenty. Full-length windows look out on the city from tasteful but comfy green-and-beige suites. Ok, so the pool is miniscule. Who cares when the Riverwalk is just four blocks away (under the highway). A tourist yellow line bus is even closer. Early 1900s buildings line the streets around the building.
