A Hilton is a Hilton is a Hilton. But at least the location of this one is prime. At a main corner in the Riverwalk, it's across from a river boat dock. It's a block from La Villita artisan shops, and in front of the transit center for all tourist bus lines. There's nowhere you can't get from here.
As in any member of this chain, the beds are super duper - with high thread-count sheets and signature mattresses. Moss green and beige floral comforters lend a light, gardeny feel to the rooms. Most have balconies. The third-floor pool view isn't so hot though. You're looking at a busy street and lots of buses. Remember that being on S Alamo St, a main drag, is why attractions are so accessible. Down at river level, the resident sports bar and grill hums with activity from lunch to late night. Weekend evenings live bands compete with the game on TV.
