This upstart produces innovative shows and keeps ticket prices low. The names of some of its original shows gives you an idea of the vibe: Sheer Bloody Lunacy!, Pirates vs Ninjas, and The Brain That Wouldn’t Die: A New Musical.

    EVERY show I've seen there has been great!

    satheatre recommends this,

    The shows are all written by local writers, and the casts are always very talented. the shows run from the goofy ("Dr. S Battles the Sex-Crazed Reefer Zombies"), to the dramatic ("Happy Couple"). But, all of them have an edge. It's like a fringe festival year-round. They have late-night improv comedy, too.

    Good for: party animals, theatre lovers, date night, Date with spouse (your own)
