Lonely Planet review
This Old West hotel has a fabulous style that’s matched only by its love of taxidermy. Each room at this property is individually (though similarly) decorated with Indian blankets, cowboy gear and leather accents. The original building was designed by Henry Trost and built in 1927, and the Los Portales annex has more expensive rooms that surround the lovely pool.
Our independent authors have visited Gage Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended historic hotels in Marathon.
