    Lonely Planet review

A mix of semi-permanent residents and backpackers. A friendly, eccentric staff and worn '70s furnishings lend the place a throwback hippie feel. It's an easy walk to Houston's major museums and light rail.

Our independent authors have visited Houston International Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Houston.
