    I used to live in the PNW where you can get excellent Sushi every night of the week without ever going to the same place. Dallas, not so much - especially without paying through the nose. Yutaka seems to have found the right balance between great Japanese (sushi and the rest of the menu are delicious) without charges as pretentious as Dallas itself. The wait can be long as the space itself is small, and some of the tables are oddly sized - way too big for the two chairs at them, or in the case of the one right in front, basically in the waiting area - but the food is excellent and the service top notch as well. You can go to the big posh places like Blue Fish if you want a DJ spinning while you eat, but if you're in it for the culinary joy, stick w/Yutaka.
