Lonely Planet review
The South Campground sits north of the visitor center beside the busy Pa'rus Trail. The 127 campsites are entirely first-come, first-serve, so show up before 9am for the best chances of finding an open site. The South Campground has no electrical hookups for RVs; generator use is allowed from 8am to 10am and 6pm to 8pm. There is a dump station, however.
Pets are allowed in RVs only.
Our independent authors have visited South Campground and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Zion National Park.
