    Fred Leighton

Many of Hollywood’s red-carpet adornments are on loan from the world’s most prestigious collection of antique jewelry, notably art deco and art nouveau. In Las Vegas, unlike at the uptight NYC outlet, they’ll let almost anyone try on finery that once belonged to royalty. Price tags for pieces easily top $1 million at this veritable museum of jewels.

    Shush Yaz Trading Company

If you can't get to Gallup , come here for fine silver and turquoise jewelry. Top artists include sculptor Cliff Fragua, painter Marvin Toddy, and many tribal basket weavers. A la the PBS TV show Antiques Roadshow, gallery experts are also willing to examine old Indian blankets, turquoise jewelry or other artifacts you bring from home.

    D'Loe House of Style

You'll know it's fabulous as soon as you catch sight of the hot-pink-and-blue exterior. It's owned by Cirque du Soleil costume designer Mario D'Loe, who hoards unique fashions from the pre-WWII era to the 1970s, including evening wear and bejeweled accessories. Brad Pitt and the Killers have been spotted modeling vintage shirts found here.
