Grasshopper Point information
This well-marked national forest park, 3 miles north of Sedona, offers easy access to the siren call of Oak Creek's cool, clear waters. Swim in the marvelously shaded and delightfully deep swimming hole or simply splash along the creek. Though crowds aren't as packed in summer as nearby Sliding Rock, it's a popular escape from the searing rays and can get packed by midday.
In addition to swimming, the park serves as a trailhead for three hiking trails (Allen's Bend, Casner Canyon and Huckaby).
