  1. A

    Freezone

Every night is a party at this gay dive bar. Tuesday is ladies’ night with go-go girls, Thursday is boyz’ night with go-go boys, Friday and Saturday nights feature the ‘Queens of Las Vegas’ drag cabaret, and Sunday and Monday are for free pool and no-wait karaoke.

  2. B

    Pure

With gorgeous female DJs, this chic modern club electrifies with its hues of electric blue, white and silver. Crowds of fine young thangs lounge inside a labyrinth of rooms that feel a lot like LA, and which lead to a gorgeous Strip-view patio. Strict dress code.

  3. C

    Ghostbar

Sure, these days the crowd is thicker with celeb wannabes rather than actual celebs, but this sky-high ultra lounge gets packed nonetheless (and who can tell the difference between the average B-lister and her lookalikes, anyway?) Join hoochie mamas and guys living out their Entourage fantasies on the balcony to take in the admittedly stunning panoramic skyline views.

  4. D

    Spearmint Rhino

Fall in love, if only for two minutes (the length of an average lap dance, that is). Strip club connoisseurs rave about the Rhino.

    Jubilee!

Girls, girls, girls! It’s a showgirl production that Vegas wouldn’t be Vegas without. As it started, so does it end: with lots of knockers, twinkling rhinestones and enormous headdresses on display. If you can forgive the giant helping of cheese, it’s a riot.

  6. F

    La Comedy Club

At the Sound Trax lounge, this nightly comedy club has the smoky atmosphere and cheap glamour of an old-school casino, with an ever-changing line-up of touring headliners and local stand-up talent. Admission includes two free drinks or a complimentary buffet.

  7. G

    Chicago Brewing Company

Besides just a dozen bar stools, this brewpub outlet also has cigar-friendly club chairs overlooking the casino floor. A handmade pizza and beer sampler should be enough to satisfy, starring All Nighter, Black Star and Old Town Brown brews. Also in Summerlin.

    Stoney's Rockin' Country

An off-Strip place worth the trip. Friday and Saturday has all-you-can-drink draft beer specials and free line dancing lessons from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Bikini bull-riding, anyone?

  9. I

    Gordon Biersch

Overrun by conventioneers, this brewpub chain inhabits a brick-walled building that looks like a warehouse. Award-winning microbrews are not all that’s on tap. Try the homemade basil Bloody Mary during the Sunday jazz brunch or out in the beer garden.

    Hookah Lounge

Next to Paymon’s Mediterranean Café, you can recline languorously with a water pipe stuffed with one of 20 premium flavored Egyptian tobaccos. Exotic fig-flavored cocktails are pricier than the off-Strip norm, but for ambience worthy of a pasha, why not?

    Mac King

Redheaded Mac has the front-running afternoon magic and comedy show in town, with lots of PG-13 laughs and sleight-of-hand thrown in. He really rides the crazy train with his bag of tricks, which includes baiting a live goldfish with a Fig Newton cookie.

  13. L

    Kahunaville

Dueling pianos some nights, DJs others, but it’s always a rowdy party. Sip a mai tai under a fake palm tree and watch the flair bartenders work the crowd while you soak up the beachy atmosphere, especially when the poolside patio is open in summer.

  14. M

    Krāve

Drawing a mixed crowd, it's the hottest gay nightclub in town, and the only one on the Strip. A glam warehouse-sized dance space is packed wall-to-wall with hard bodies and VIP cabanas.

    Piranha

The gay universe of the Fruit Loop orbits Sin City’s sexiest gay nightclub, decked out with fireplace patios, aquariums and waterfalls, plus the luxurious 8½ Ultra Lounge. Expect outrageous theme parties, drag cabarets, and ladies-only and Latin nights.

  16. O

    Big Apple Bar

Raising torch singers and rockin’ cover bands on a swank stage above the bar, this high-impact lounge flung wide open to the casino floor really jumps. Red velvet curtains and gold filigree make it as tempting as the fruit in the Garden of Eden.

  17. P

    Fireside Lounge

Don’t be blinded by the outlandish rainbow-colored neon lights: the Strip’s most spellbinding hideaway awaits inside this retro coffee shop. Courting couples adore the sunken fire pit, cozy blue-velvet nooks and faux tropical foliage. Sip a Scorpion.

    Legends in Concert

Vegas’ top pop-star impersonator show features real talent – there is no lip-synching allowed. Video screens beside the stage show real-life concert clips of the performers, while the back-up dancers boogie up a Saturday Night Fever storm.

    Criss Angel: Believe

The peripatetic French-Canadian circus troupe Cirque du Soleil mixes high-adrenaline stunts, surreal postmodern fantasy and dark, dreamy magical illusions with pop-star illusionist Criss Angel, who stars as a Victorian lord beset by buxom beauties.

    Drai's

Feel ready for an after-hours scene straight outta Hollywood? Things don't really get going until 4am, when DJs spinning progressive discs keep the cool kids content. Critics say it's full of cooler-than-thou scenesters; fans say it's the best afterparty in town, especially on Industry Mondays. Dress to kill.

    Griffin

Escape from the casinos’ clutch and imbibe at this indie joint, a short walk along the dark side of Fremont St. Crackling fireplaces, leather booths and an almost unbearably cool jukebox make it popular with hipster sweethearts and rebels alike.

    The Pearl

A beacon for rock bands, the Palms’ concert hall has a sophisticated sound system and on-site recording studio. Modern rock acts like Gwen Stefani and Morrissey have burned up the stage, with most seats only 120ft or less away from the stars.

    Downtown Cocktail Room

With a retro cocktail list you must take seriously, this speakeasy with sateen pillows and suede-covered couches feels decades removed from the old-school carpet joints on Fremont St. In true Prohibition-era style, the entrance is disguised.
