Rio Grande Zoo information
Set on 60 shady acres beside the Rio Grande, this zoo is home to more than 250 species and puts on a busy rota of events and activities, including daily sea-lion feedings at 10:30am and 3:30pm. Every day except Monday, a half-hourly miniature train connects the zoo with the aquarium and botanic gardens 2 miles northwest.
