Village Style
On a quiet little stretch of the East Village, Vintage Style is a fine little place to stumble upon, with an impressive selection of leather jackets, furs and cowboy boots, as well as handbags, old-school T-shirts, cowboy boots, sweaters, hats and ’80s dresses. Prices are generally decent and the unpretentious setting encourages digging.

Eleven
Irish-owned Eleven may be small, but it contains a well-curated selection of vintage duds, particularly for men. Oversized leather mailbags, army knapsacks, jeans, leather jackets and softened leather cowboy boots – along with dresses and skirts for the gals – are among the regular finds at this inviting shop.

Goldmine Vintage
Hot pink fishnets and a purple wig adorn the mannequin in the window of this upscale vintage shop. There are trucker caps, Spinal Tap tees and turquoise cowboy boots. In back, patrons can try on Monroe-worthy gowns under the watchful gaze of a matador painted on black velvet.

American Rag
Tiny tees, tight jeans and top-tier brands make this chic store a fave with Whitney Port (formerly of The Hills ) and her ilk. The latest designer duds are on the left while vintage, slightly cheaper ‘rags’ are found on the right. Saucy shoes preen in the middle.

Funky Monkey
Vintage attire for club-hoppers is on sale in this funhouse of frippery, as well as wigs, shades and jewelry. Annoyingly, it’s turned into one of those vintage shops where the secondhand stuff is as expensive as new clothes, but the duds are admittedly hip-to-trip.

Squaresville
Square never felt so right at this two-story corner shop jam-packed with gently used – but oh-so- happenin’ – T-shirts, jeans, dresses and accessories. Upstairs you’ll find men’s and shoes. It buys, sells and trades.
