Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery information
Founded in the 1970s on the East Coast, this cool alt-comic and graphic-book publisher moved to Seattle in the late '80s and opened this one-of-a-kind bookstore/gallery in 2006. Stocked with quirky books, comics and magazines, and furnished in an exhibition space that hosts monthly shows and readings, it’s well worth making a pilgrimage out to Georgetown for.
Don’t miss the Damaged Room, with out-of-print and steeply discounted books.
