Beloved for its atmosphere at least as much as its food, the Pink Door is an old-school favorite – on a nice evening, stopping for dinner and drinks on the deck overlooking the market is hard to beat. The menu is traditional Italian, and the vegetarian lasagne comes highly recommended.

    On the Town.

    College dining has its ups and downs.

    Wendy's and Taco Bell do the trick most of the time, but every now and then we like to peel off our sweats and dress our plates with something other than chicken quesadillas.

    Seven of us strapped on heels and earrings for a night out at the Pink Door in downtown Seattle. Between the dim lighting, trendy decor, three course meal and live jazz, we almost forgot the life of canned tuna and exams.

    We'll be back.
