Lonely Planet review for Alki Bakery

This is a great place to grab a coffee and pastry, then sit down at a window seat to partake of the bakery’s free wi-fi connection while digging your beach-front view. Cinnamon rolls and cookies reign supreme, but you can also get takeout sandwiches and salads to eat on the beach.

    Good Beach Eatery

    fluegas5 recommends this,

The Alki Bakery is a favorite of mine and a lot of my friends also. The food is good and very reasonably priced. One of the best things about Alki Bakery is they make great sandwiches to go so you can enjoy a picnic on the beach. If I'm behind in work from the office it's great to sit and look at the beach while catching up with the free wi-fi they have. I recommend it.

    Great Local Coffee House

    2travel1 recommends this,

Is it raining? - go to the Alki Bakery and grab a wonderful latte, read a free newspaper, or check on your email. Don't forget to try a cinnamon roll or turkey sandwich on a croissant with your coffee.

Look out the window and watch the ship traffic in Elliott Bay, or just people watch. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Very busy during the summer, but not the rest of the year.
