Lonely Planet review for La Cantina at Coyote Café

This lively rooftop cantina atop famed sister restaurant, Coyote Café, welcomes budget gourmets to sample chef Mark Miller’s cut-rate creations. Try the Oaxacan chicken mole ($11), spit-roasted pork tacos with pineapple ($13) and the signature mango margarita ($8). Sunsets are fabulous.

    Rooftop dining at basement prices

    gizmodoc recommends this,

Forget the Restaurant, come to the Cantina! For a taste of south west cuisine with an original flair, try the rooftop Cantina at the Coyote Café. Arrive before sunset to secure a table, as it gets crowded towards dinner time, and be spoilt by attentive staff and gorgeous food. It's a boistrous atmosphere (if you want a quiet romantic dinner, go to the restaurant downstairs). Enjoy a cerveza while waiting for your Crispy Calamari Strips that come Jenga® style - so very tender with a light, crisp batter - carefully eat the stack but don't let 'em topple! The no-so-appealing-sounding "Garbage Burger" isn't going to be the cheapest burger you'll eat, but it will be one of the best. It looks like a mess, but the combination of kobe beef, roasted green chillis, sambal ketchup, cheese and slaw tastes out of this world. And while in New Mexico - don't forget the sopapillas! The funky clock-cum-sculpture on the wall by the stairwell reflects the café and your experience here - so funky, so Santa Fe...!
