Secluded in the high desert 15 minutes from town, this artful oasis offers casitas and rooms that exude a blend of Asian and Southwestern flavours. There's also a tearoom, spa, restaurant, al fresco bar, and pottery and meditative arts studios.

Minutes away from downtown, yet worlds apart, Sunrise Springs does much more than physically remove you from your everyday life: it invites your mind and spirit to take a breather as well. Partake in tai chi, yoga and pottery classes, tea ceremonies and other contemplative arts. Or just wander trails woven around gardens, woodland and spring-fed ponds. This has been a resting place for travellers for nearly 400 years, though never so luxuriously endowed as now. High ceilings, 'Zen-modern' furnishings and low-key aesthetics demarcate the lovely casitas, complete with kitchenettes and private patios.
