Lonely Planet review
Solar panels provide the power and most ingredients come from within a 30 minutes radius of SF at this locavore favorite, just north of the Ferry Building. The high-ceilinged, post-industrial space, with exposed ductwork and hanging glass-tungsten bulbs, has knockout bay views and a gastro-pub vibe. Red meat is notably absent on the veg-heavy menu, but there's fish, chicken and duck. Book ahead for weekend dinner or Sunday brunch, or get to-go salads and sandwiches from the adjoining cafe.
