Lonely Planet review for Café Asia
Rest those museum legs on the sunny outdoor balcony, and let your tastebuds do the trekking. You might pause at the green-tea soba-noodle base camp, or head for the spicy Korean pork sandwich. Adventurous eaters attack hearty Tibetan lamb and lentil stew, nibblers chill out with Thai green papaya salad, and dawdlers refresh with green tea and Pocky.

Fine for a captive audience...
vandelayindustries does not recommend this,
I'm not sure why this place has its own entry in the guidebook. I don't think it's possible to get in unless you are also visiting the museum so don't make a special trip unless you intend on visiting the Asian Art Museum.
As museum/tourist attraction food goes it is certainly better than most. It has a wide selection of pan-Asian cuisine and is reasonably priced for a museum cafe. (At least compared to those in the UK where you expect to get ripped off).
The food is served canteen style and the entrance even gives you instructions on how to order (!?!) Patronising advice such as 'decide what you want before you get to the counter as this makes it quicker'. Gee, I would never have thought of that by myself.
I ordered the Kigali lentils which, whilst colourful, was pretty bland and watery.
In summary, this is probably the best museum cafe I have been to, but that's not saying much.
