Lonely Planet review
Alas, no pink champagne on ice, but it does provide frosted tequila shots upon check-in and wine and cheese nightly. This bay-windowed, vintage-1920s hotel has small rooms with laminate floors and sometimes-thin walls but also cheery yellow paint jobs, fluffy beds and double-pane windows that (generally) block street noise (request a quiet room).
Our independent authors have visited The Hotel California and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Downtown & Civic Center.
