Many rooms overlook the blinking neon and exotic street scene of Grant Ave: expect noise. Rooms are generally clean (never mind the heavy air-freshener), but blandly decorated with generic furniture. Baths have soap, but not shampoo. If you want to be in the heart of Chinatown, this is it.

Description

The Grant Plaza has been rated by many guidebooks as a 'Best Buy' and is located right in the heart of San Francisco. Our historical hotel is newly renovated with modern furnishings and the latest amenities including free wireless internet access throughout the hotel . Antique stained glass skylight on the top floor offers a quiet sitting area. Our inviting lobby is cozy and nicely decorated.

All rooms have been newly renovated and are fully en-suite. We have recently installed new furnishings in our guest rooms. They are comfortable with modern furnishings and the latest amenities. Each room has electronic key card door locks and amenities such as telephones with voice mail & data ports, a colour TV, hairdryers, clock radios, disposable toothbrush and irons & sewing kits.

Grant Plaza Hotel has a special parking rate at a nearby Garage. This $27.95 per 24 hours special gives our guests in and out privileges at the garage. This Garage is conveniently located two city blocks from the Grant Plaza Hotel.

The hotel is located at the gateway to Chinatown, just 3 blocks from Union Square the finest Retail District, 1 block from the Cable Car line to Fisherman's Wharf, 1 block to the Financial District, and I block to the 5-stars Ritz Carlton Hotel in Nob Hill. San Francisco's restaurants and theatres are within minutes of the hotel.
