America's oldest ballet company is looking sharp in more than 100 shows annually, from the Nutcracker (the US premiere was here) to modern Mark Morris originals. It performs mostly at War Memorial Opera House January to May, with occasional performances at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Score $15 to $20 same-day standing-room tickets at the box office (noon Tuesday to Friday, 10am weekends).
