Brava Theater information
Brava's been producing women-run theater for more than 20 years, hosting acts from comedian Sandra Bernhardt to V-day monologist Eve Ensler, and it's the nation's only company with a commitment to producing original works by women of color and lesbians. Brava honors the Mission's Mexican heritage with folkloric music and dance celebrations, plus hand-painted show posters modeled after Mexican cinema billboards.
