San Francisco Center for the Book information
Beautiful books are handmade daily at San Francisco's community press. Beyond traditional binding workshops, this nonprofit offers hands-on classes that teach you to make books that fit into matchboxes, pop up into theaters and turn digital works into analog wonders. SFCB also hosts September's Roadworks Street Fair , where artists use a three-ton construction steamroller to make prints on the street.
