On this eco-cruise, you'll depart from Pier 39 and travel through the bay to explore hidden spots and tributaries that only locals know about. Along the way, discover a myriad of marine animals and other local wildlife.

Board a sleek catamaran at Pier 39 and head out on San Francisco Bay to uncover native animals with your fellow travelers! The marine life sightings are abundant on this 1.5-hour journey across the West Coast's most famous bay.

The many wildlife species you will see include: Western Gulls, Brandt's Cormorants, Double-crested Cormorants, Pigeon Guillemots, Common Murres, Cassin's Auklets, Black Oystercatchers, Rhinoceros Auklets, Ashy Storm-petrels (an endangered species), Leach's Storm-petrels, Northern Elephant Seals, harbor seals, Steller sea lions (an endangered species), California sea lions, Northern fur seals (a threatened species) and porpoises.

You'll enjoy the San Francisco Bay Eco-Cruise on the comfortable 65-foot (20-meter) catamaran Kitty Kat, which features a unique hull design and superior engineering. The Kitty Kat is the most advanced vessel for wildlife expeditions in San Francisco. At times, it may be substituted with the 43-foot (13-meter) Happy Days, which features a heated cabin, spacious sun deck, and indoor and outdoor seating! Be sure to bring a camera and a light coat for this expedition.
