Lonely Planet review
This 1910 hotel was built as the fancy city counterpart to the Hotel del Coronado and hosted everyone from Albert Einstein to Harry Truman. Today’s quietly flashy lobby combines chocolate-brown and ocean-blue accents, and rooms boast original artwork on the headboards. It’s owned by members of the Sycuan tribe of Native Americans. Parking costs $39.
Our independent authors have visited The US Grant and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in San Diego.
