Its white '60s building with blue trim fits like well-worn jeans in this easy-going beach community. In all shapes and sizes, the rooms in this motel are all the same price, no matter how many people you cram in.
That's right: get a room with one queen, two queens or even a one-bedroom apartment. Choose an ocean view or street view, and you fork out the same low price - a real deal considering you're within spitting distance of the beach. The rooms are not front-cover material. In fact, they're worn and a little shabby in the odd corner, with some bedspreads lighter and brighter than others, but at time of writing, some of the rooms were being renovated. If you're here for the beach and outdoor offerings, no matter. The bike/rollerblading path is just beyond your doorstep. And the beach out the front is busy with a party crowd, who grub and slug beers along Ocean Blvd. Polish your shades, get ready to have a good time, and book a room at this good-value spot. Get in early to secure the best vantage point.
