Isis Theatre
The only movie house in Aspen proper plays first-run Hollywood fare, but thankfully spices up the blockbusters with an ocassional pinch of art-house and foreign cinema. This is Aspen, after all. But eat and come early as there are no late shows.

Cinebistro
Located in the Solaris complex is Vail's slick new cinema, with three premium theaters outfitted with cush seats and a flash bar and restaurant serving serious cuisine in the lobby. On the big screens they play first-rate Hollywood fare.

Kimball's Twin Peak Theatre
A beer-drinking, wine-swilling downtown indie cinema. It's staffed by artsy movie geeks who present first-run foreign and indie films. Quite simply one of the best downtown diversions we experienced.

Landmark Mayan Theater
Even without the fancy sound system and enormous screen, this is the best place in Denver to take in a film. The 1930s movie palace is a romantic, historic gem and – bonus! – they serve beer.
