Four miles north of Aspen on Hwy 82, Sardy Field (970-920-5380) has commuter flights from Denver, and nonstops to Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Memphis. Colorado Mountain Express (970-947-0506; www.cmex.com) offers frequent services to Denver International Airport ($100, four hours).
Roaring Fork Transit Agency (970-920-1905; www.rfta.com) buses connect Aspen with the ski areas.
