Carnival World & Village Seafood Buffets

Some say Carnival World is Vegas’ best all-around buffet, with wok-fried dishes, taco bars, fresh seafood and handmade gelato. Pricier Village Seafood is for those who can’t get enough snow crab legs, lobster tails and fresh-shucked oysters, plus salads and house-made breads.

  3. C

    Eldorado's Chef's Buffet

The all-you-can-eat buffets at the casinos are popular fueling-up options and can be a good bargain if you like to stuff yourself silly. Some open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices tend to be higher on Friday and Saturday nights when most casinos put out especially lavish spreads. Some serve Sunday brunch. Other local favorites include the Silver Legacy's Victorian Buffet (775 325 7401; 407 N Virginia St), Atlantis' Toucan Charlie's Buffet & Grille (775 825 4700; 3800 S Virginia St) and nearby Peppermill's Island Buffet (775 826 2121; 2707 S Virginia St).

    Makino Chaya

Smart Japanese decor and paper umbrellas hanging from the ceiling set the tone at this cheery buffet restaurant. This place has it all, a full a la carte menu plus a fresh buffet spread of sushi, briny seafood delights and salads just for starters. The dinner menu includes the freshest lobster and wonderful desserts.

  8. Pagoda Floating Restaurant

A vaguely tropical atmosphere draws elderly crowds to the kitschy Pagoda Hotel. The so-so breakfast buffet includes local favorites like Portuguese sausage. Dinner is a fancier spread of prime rib, crab legs, Hawaiian poke and sashimi. It's overpriced but there are worse buffets in Waikiki.

  9. H

    Le Village Buffet

Fruit and cheeses, cracked crab legs and a toasty range of breads and pastries make this arguably the best-value buffet on the Strip. Distinct cooking stations are themed by France’s various regions. Breakfasts are magnifique, especially the Sunday champagne brunch.

  10. Carnival World Buffet

With Brazilian mixed grills, Chinese wok-fried dishes, Mexican tacos, Italian pizzas and pastas, many say this is the best all-around buffet in town. It’s pretty darn hard to dispute that claim, especially after award-winning pies, cakes, cookies and Italian gelato.

    Black Angus Steakhouse & Lounge

From steak to seafood, Hwy 192 is king of gut-busting buffet eateries, as well as every fast-food chain known to humans. If you're going to go buffet, the Black Angus Steakhouse & Lounge is truly obscene in the sheer amount of food on offer.

  14. Chinatown Café

You can load up on salad and greasy chicken wings at the casino buffets while saloons offer cheap pub grub to soak up the brews. For something different, there's the lemon chicken at Chinatown Café, which does Chinese staples well.
