    Lonely Planet review

The monks had it good when this was still a Catholic monastery: spacious rooms, high ceilings, a fireplace in the parlor. Breakfast, with its pastries and cold cuts, is reminiscent of a European hostel. It's on the North Side, in the historic-but-scruffy Deutschtown area.

Our independent authors have visited The Priory Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Pittsburgh.
