Owned by humanitarian and sustainable-foods activist Judy Wicks, this 24-year-old institution is the kind of funky-yet-upscale place that college students have their visiting parents take them for special dinners. The local, largely organic menu offers eclectic eats like troll-caught mahi mahi with avocado salsa, grilled local-pasture pork chops with apples and pears, and local seitan with pepper-anise coulis. Brunch, too, is a happening scene.
