Hi I am a single female 19 year old college student from Brooklyn planning to travel solo to Pacific NW during winter 2017. I have a 6 week intersession break, from 12/21/16 to beginning of February although I don't plan on being away for all of it. My birthday is 12/22 and I want to celebrate at home so I won't be leaving earlier than 12/23. I'm flying to Chicago then taking Amtrak to Seattle. I'm set on Seattle and Vancouver but is it realistic to try to do Portland as well? I would appreciate…
I've been to Taos a few times, including a visit during 9/30 San Geronimo day.
I am going to visit again and need your opinion. I hope to observe some ritual dance. I didn't see it last time (only see foot race, clown, pole climbing). I wonder if there is dance traditionally? I read some article online (dated back to 1910s), which mention sundown-dance before (or after) 9/29 San Geronimo Eve Vespers, but that article is long time ago. I wonder if anyone has info on that?
I am travelling to Chicago by Greyhound from Canada next month. Is that safe to travel by Greyhound at night ? and is that Safe to travel around Chicago in the City. Any idea would be appreciated.

I'm an older, well-travelled American woman. I'm currently in Greece working with refugees. Would also volunteer in Arizona with refugees. And want to rent a studio for reasonable rent. Any…

Drive from Rapid City to Deadwood, SD (because we love the show!). Review: Would not make a special trip to see the city.
While in Deadwood, SD we also made a stop to see Mount Rushmore.
Mount Rushmore to Billings, Montana and stopped for the night at The…
