Burger restaurants in Pacific Northwest

  1. A

    Little Big Burger

A simple six-item menu takes fast food to the next level with mini burgers made from prime ingredients. Try a beef or veggie burger topped with cheddar, Swiss, chevre or blue cheese, with a side of truffled fries – then wash it down with a can of craft beer or a root-beer float. Heaven on earth.

  2. B

    Orange King

At this tiny, old-fashioned greasy spoon just off the Ave, miraculously, you can still get a burger and fries for less than $5. It’s not gourmet, but it’s fast, cheap and, in its own way, charming.

  3. C

    Red Mill Burgers

This place is constantly collecting accolades for grilling up the best burger in town, and it also fries up the fattest, yummiest onion rings. There’s usually a line out the door but it moves along quickly. Cash only.

    Dick’s Drive-In

Sometimes you don’t want gourmet. Sometimes you just want a big, greasy burger at 2am, with fries and a shake, and you want it all for less than $5. At Dick’s, you can have it – plus a bonus sideshow of parking-lot hi-jinks right after the bars close. It’s not just fast food; it’s an institution. There are other locations around town; their bright orange signs are hard to miss. The most theatrically rewarding, of course, is in Capitol Hill (115 Broadway E).
