We have a maximum of 2 weeks. Of special note:
There will be minimal services available along the Tioga Road for several weeks. There will be no drinking water. Visitors should use the vault and portable toilets located along the roadway to help protect water quality in the Tuolumne River watershed. Food service and lodging are not…
Having flown in from London v late on a Wednesday night, we fly on to Vancouver the following Sunday.
Our United flight is at 07:30, we had to take this flight to give us time to make a connection for Vancouver Island.
The airport recommends checking in a minimum of 3 hrs before an International flight.
So that's 04:30; say we're there at 04:00 to be safe.
This means , we'd be leaving Manhattan at 3am-plus a bit.
What is open at the airport at that time ?
(I know the airport itself is open…
A friend of mine and I are planning a road trip from San Francisco to Vegas>>Salt Lake City>>Seattle>>Portland>>San Francisco.
In the cities we plan to be couch surfing and between them we want to camp in national parks.
My questions would be:
1. Yosemite and Yellowstone are parks we already know that we want to see. Other than that we want to know which other parks/campsites are a must see along the trip?
2. Can we camp anywhere in the parks or do we have to stick to the camp sites?
I have a question that I couldn't find the right answer on Internet. I am planning to travel to New York to visit my aunt with my friend next summer (2018). At that time, I will be 17 and my friend 16. My question is if we can travel alone even though we are underaged? We would go from Europe to the USA and I want to know if there are any complications with crossing the border if we are only 16 and 17.
I would be very happy and pleased if someone answers me.
Thank you in advance :)
i have planned a three week trip starting and finishing in Anchorage.
here is the plan i made... would love to know what you think.
i haven't decided on the number of days we will be spending in each place. I am travelling with another friend in an RV.
We are mainly interested in being out in the wild, hiking, seeing animals, going to the glaciers, hopefully seeing whales.
If have put in too many stops, what should i skip over?
would love to hear feedback - much appreciated
Hi, my crazy cheap flights landed me an 11 hour stop over in hawaii. I'm changing air lines there, so I'm going to have a large backpack with me. I fly in at 6 a.m and fly out 5 pm and it will be late july. Any advice? I'm budget conscious but do enjoy a drink.
