Getting there & around
Buffalo’s Niagara International Airport (716-630-6000), about 16 miles east of downtown, is a regional hub. Jet Blue Airways has inexpensive round-trip fares from New York City (one hour, from around $140). Buses arrive and depart from the Greyhound terminal (716-855-7531; 181 Ellicott St). NFTA (716-285-9319) local bus No 40 goes to the transit center on the American side of Niagara Falls ($2.25). From the downtown Amtrak train station (716-856-2075; 75 Exchange St), you can catch trains to major cities.
