Style fiends hyperventilate over SoHo's fashion-conscious streets and hoteliers have taken note. There's no shortage of coveted accommodation options to choose from along these star-studded lanes, but they come at quite a cost. Is it worth it? Totally. You’ll have some of the world’s best shopping, drinking and dining at your doorstep, and you’re a short subway hop or taxi ride from some of Manhattan’s other great neighborhoods. Slightly cheaper digs await in the borderlands of Chinatown and Nolita. For true budget options, however, you'll need to leave the neighborhood and go further afield.
