The aisles are wide for easy browsing of countless bins of rock, hip-hop, jazz, blues, electronica and world music. The annex also stocks an increasing number of CDs. Prices compare quite well with other NY record shops, and the stock changes frequently.

The East Village outpost of this excellent music store is a vinyl-lovers Valhalla with a brilliant assortment of new and used LPs. The jazz and world-music collection is particularly strong, with decks to listen to used albums before buying. The Williamsburg Academy Annex is even bigger and well worth visiting. For CDs and classical music on vinyl, visit the Flatiron District store.
