This diminutive hideaway in a romantic, residential West Village pocket has been quite celebrated, receiving the coveted Michelin star each of the three years it’s been open. It packs in folks nightly with its hearty, upscale blend of Italian-English-Irish pub fare – but instead of the usual bangers and mash, you get Jerusalem artichoke salad with goat cheese and hazelnuts, fried duck-egg and bacon salad, sautéed quail, and bar snacks like delicious deviled eggs or marinated olives. Pair anything with an icy stout and have yourself a time.
