The quintessential city eatery, this neighborhood stalwart has it all: an elegant setting, friendly staff, a crowd of locals and flattering lighting – with an outstanding menu, to boot. Its execution of standards, including salmon tartare, cassoulet and steak frites, is consistently excellent, as is its approach to a range of other options, from salads and fresh pasta dishes to fabulous and eggy brunch options. And its proximity to Lincoln Center makes it the perfect post-performance destination.
